Well hello there!
Today I have some more news to share, some good, some not so good…. *sigh*  OK, first the good news, last month you will have read that I applied for 2 design teams, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would have been accepted on both but guess what…it has happened, I am now officially a member of Purple Pumpkin and now Scrap Friends (and there is Craft Queen of course who I just love love love). I’m super excited about being on the teams and will be sure to keep you in the loop with the goings on.
So, this leads me to my sad news, I have made the tough decision to step down from my DT commitments at BITW… I never never thought I would do it, but Mum always said, if you can’t do it properly, don’t do it at all… and 4 Design Team spots is too many so tough decisions needed to be made.  I have also read fellow scrapper’s blogs who get too involved in scrapping and over commit only to burn out and quit the hobby altogether and I most certainly don’t want that!!!  I will definitely continue to stop by the blog, it is such an inspirational place to visit and I hope you do too.

Oh Gwen, I am sure you have thought long and hard about things, and I know you do put in 100% on your layouts.. I try and have BITW as my number one challenge site and do the others as i can, so I will keep going there.. I just love finding inspirational quotes to use their words with… I look forward to seeing your creations with the other sites.. and yes I wonder if sometimes scrappers get too busy and lose the enjoyment due to so many commitments.. I am only on one DT and that is enough for me at the moment!! take care of yourself!!
Hi Gwen….how awful to have to choose! As all these teams are so special…you must feel very, very pleased to get on PP as well as Scrap Friends…looks like being a Happy Scrappy Year for you:):)
Oh Gwen your new spot is fabulous news! Yes, we do have to make choices…when it becomes too much, it is actually better for you and the team, to step down…
