"Hey Girl, Love You" for D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone,

Back again today to share a layout for D-lish scraps.

I love working with black and white photos and would have to say my ‘go to’ colour combo for scrapping them is black, white and baby pink.  For today’s layout I started with the background sheet of paper.  It was a natural progression to pick up the pink of the cute little hearts and I’ve added grey to soften.  I feel it’s pretty classic ‘Gwen’ in design too!

So after my pattern paper choice, I knew I had to use that title.  It’s not very often I use a bold black title on a page but I feel this one suits it perfectly!  I’ve added lots of D-lish Scraps elements to finish it off including the divine black Tutu Bloom.  Putting it towards the bottom of the page helps balance out the black in the title.

Of course, as usual I have close ups…

How totally adorable are the Resin bows?  I just love these, so sweet and the perfect size too and they come in a wonderful pastel mix.

I’ve used a Felt Doily here with a vellum sentiment over the top and stitched together.. loving this look!  You can also see just a glimpse of the wooden arrow there too.  Lots to choose from here.
You can also see Punchinella here tucked into my paper layers… I love using it on my photo mats, in a subtle way.  If you look very closely you will also see a 5X7 Bag in the middle of my paper stack.

Lucky last I had to show you a close up of these cute Shaped Wooden Buttons and Resin Flowers totally adorable.  The flair was the perfect addition in black and white, so versatile.
