Scrap Friends Sketch challenge #8

Happy Sunday evening to you all.

Its time again for another fabulous sketch challenge at Scrap Friends… and this one is my last one as part of their DT… 🙁  I have a Colour challenge and a step x step to do before the new DT takeover – do you have your submission in yet?  Entries close 23rd December and it is an amazing team to be apart of, let me tell you!!  (Details here)

OK, back onto the sketch, here it is… A Christmas inspired sketch although you don’t have to do a Christmas layout.

and here is my take; I went with a Christmas theme as I really don’t do many Christmas layouts – probably only one per year!!  The thought of a December Daily does my head in!! LOL

Imaginarium Designs and Manor House Creations Blog Hop

I was so excited to hear that Manor House Creations would be teaming with Imaginarium chipboard for a blog hop, and even more excited when my very generous parcel of chipboard and flowers arrived; how lucky am I to be able to create with such wonderful and unique products!!
Here is my layout, a very recent photo of my daughter and I at a local park.
and close ups of the beautiful Manor House flowers and the Imaginarium chip – they work so well together. 
Products used:
Flourish – IDFL0002 – Embossed with Stampendous embossing enamel.
Corner – IDC0003 cut into flower shapes and then inked and embossed with clear embossing powder. I have then added a large brad.
Title – IDP0030 inked and then embossed with clear embossing power.

and the beautiful Manor House flowers:
The Tropics – These are those stunning yellow ones,
Whimsy – Cream and 
Sublime – Aqua

Manor House share…

Happy day to you all… Today I have some Manor House projects to share …. first up a layout..

I just love this photo, it’s the feel of it – makes me want to dance 🙂 The “Sparkle and Shine” sticker I had was the perfect fit!!

Scrap Friends Colour Palette #7

It’s Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday!!! 
Here today to share the latest challenge at Scrap Friends and its another fab Colour challenge – YUMMY!! 

I must admit when I first saw this challenge I was not thinking Christmas layout; but I gathered my papers and embellishments, carefully made my colour choices and then found this wonderful Christmas photo which fitted perfects so off I went 🙂
