Well Hello there,

A super quick post today to show you my latest CQ creation.
This photo was taken on a long weekend away last year by me and I think it’s the sweetest.

My little girl is off to school tomorrow so next up will be some pics – if I can manage to focus the camera through the tears that is!!!

WOW Thursday already!!! I cannot believe how fast the weeks are going by at the moment… I seem to be super busy everywhere EXCEPT my scrap room I’m afraid.

Anyhow, enough whining from me, I do have a layout to share; this fortnights challenge at Bird is the Word and it’s “Remember”. I did a little switch and changed it to “Remembering” as I wanted to share a recent trip we made to Brisbane city to not only Remember the 2011 flood but see how the city had recovered.

Now that 2012 is up and running and the kiddies go back to school next week I’m hoping things calm down again and you all get a chance to play along. I’m planning on settling Caitlin into Prep and getting into a new routine 🙂 Can’t wait!!!

WOW – What a weekend!!! Caitlin’s 5th Birthday party was a blast!!

It was a fairy dress up party and the fairy was amazing AND the bunny is real . All of the kids were mesmerised!

Now… drum roll please… the cake!!! It was even better IRL – even if I say so myself!!

and it tasted delicious!!

I would love to know what she wished for…

Well, first day back at work for me after New Years today and back to the day to day of things. Next big thing for me is little Miss’s birthday this Sat and “the cake” – ohhh my the pressure!!! I will be sure to post a pic!!

Anyways, back to why I’m here, this fortnights challenge word for Bird is the word is “Promise”… and here is my take, which was just a bit of fun really.

Anyone who knows me will know that I just don’t do diets… which is crazy because with everything else I am such a motivated person, tell me I can’t do it and I show you I can!! Really, I’m the little engine that could… well except for dieting, for some crazy reason – I just have no will power 🙂
