Dlish Scraps 5th Birthday Cybercrop – Challenge No 8

Well hello there,

I’m back with more entries for the Dlish Scraps Cybercrop.  This time it is for Challenge No 8:

I have never used this technique so I was keen to give it a try.  I wanted to see if I could use it in conjunction with the techniques I would normally use on a background and I must say I think it went super well!

Here is my take:

and no, I did not make the cake 🙂  I commissioned it though!

and here you can see my stamping – it’s the turquoise colour.  Caitlin is now 7 and 1/2 so I have been wanting to scrap the photos of her 6th birthday for what seems like forever.  So glad to get a couple done this weekend – you will see the other one in the rainbow challenge.

Dlish Scraps 5th Birthday Cybercrop – Challenge No 4

Hello again everyone,

Back again with another Dlish challenge – this time it’s Agnus’s mood board:

How we all love a mood board and this one – WOW how perfect for the pictures of Caitlin’s 6th birthday “Rainbow, Unicorn, Disco” party – yup, she couldn’t decided what theme and I said, sure, we can do them all – coz that’s how I roll! 🙂

and here is my take:

I really wanted to have a play with the rainbow theme on this one keeping in mind that there will be several layouts for this event.  I created the drips with a selection of 13 arts mists and then once dried I’ve stenciled over with my Gelatos and a triangle Heidi Swapp mask.  I used one of my new D’Lish flair buttons too on this one, perfect for the center of my butterfly.

Lastly I added some colour coded sequins and kept the rest pretty simple.
Thanks for popping by

Dlish Scraps 5th Birthday Cybercrop – Challenge No 3

Well hello there,

I’m back with more entries for the Dlish Scraps Cybercrop.  This time it is for Challenge No 3:

This challenge was a “no brainer” for me, really, you want me to use flowers?? and only 5 different types 🙂

Here is my take:

I am so so happy with the background for this one, even pulled out some super old Making Memories foam stamps to create the swirls in the gesso.
and here are my 5 types of flowers 🙂

Dlish Scraps 5th Birthday Cybercrop – Challenge No 1

Hi there fellow crafty people!

Here today to share some projects created for the Dlish scraps 5th birthday Cybercrop!  What a fab weekend I had with the girls there, it was so fun, such a positive and friendly place to be with so many inspiring layouts shared!  I managed to play along with 5 of the challenges which for me is a lot of layouts in one weekend as it usually takes me FOREVER to stick stuff down! (So get ready for lots of posts over the next lil bit!!)

So, here is the first challenge and my take.

and this my layout:  I was inspired by the design of Tarrah’s page.  I just loved her layers and the position of her title so I ran with those elements.

The title Bras Bas is the name of the ballet position her arms are in (pronounced Brah Bah)

My favourite Manor House flower – these are called Ballerina (so fitting for this layout – on all counts)
thanks for stopping by today

I can’t believe it!

Well hello there fellow paper crafters,

Here today to share a challenge – yup, I actually had some time this month to do a layout – fancy that!! **Happy Dance**

So here it is, my take on the Once Upon A Sketch:

I had a fab time having a play with my Gelatos; building on some techniques I picked up at the craft show in June and my new 13 Arts mists – LOVE! (I am now the proud owner of 8 colours and have more on my wish list)

Oh yes, and the journalling, it’s on the back… it’s ALWAYS on the back – LOL!!  Note to self, maybe you should try putting something on the front one day… no wait, the back is fine, really it is.

It was so nice to play along this month!
thanks for popping by lovelies
