The 3 P’s…

Hi Everyone,

A layout to share with you today I created for the Purple Pumpkin blog.  I wanted to show the change in Caitlin’s wardrobe from all the pretty pink dresses to her new school uniform.

I’ve layered up a heap of Pattern Paper, Purple Pumpkin and Prima…

I know how you all love close ups, doilies, buttons and twine all teamed with Prima.  I love using the small Purple Pumpkin doilies as part of a flower cluster with a brad through the centre.
How yum is that Pink/Yellow twine, the perfect match to my colour scheme and the fussy cutting!
Now did you know that the next Purple Pumpkin sale is going to be held at 7pm on Friday 25th May?  Sneaks will be coming on the blog and face-book soon so be sure to put it in your diary – I have heard there will be some new goodies that you will just have to have!!

Yummy Scrap Colour Pallet #1 at Scrap Friends

Well hello there to you all.  I’m here today to share with you this fortnights challenge over at Scrap Friends.  You may recall at the start of the month we had our sketch challenge and that not only saw some inspirational ideas from the Design team, but also some absolutely fab entries!  Thank you to everyone who joined in!!!  This fortnight is what we call our “Yummy” challenge.  Yummy because it will always be based on a yummy inspirational picture – I have had a sneak peak of those ahead and ladies we sure are in for some sweet treats!!!… Here is this months….
For my take I have really featured the yummy blue/green back ground colour as the pictures I had already had a fair bit of pink in them. (I know, shocked aren’t you!)
Check the chipboard doily I have not seen any like these before, so delicate and they come white so no need to paint.  I simply misted with Marshmallow glimmer mist for some sparkle.
and Prima of course…
Cute little stickers from Authentic – has words and phases.
and lots of fussy cutting 🙂
and now the full layout…
Yum on all accounts!!  I sure hope you pop over to the blog to see the rest of the DT’s work and give this one a go.  There is a FAB prize up for grabs.

Mother’s Day Inspiration

Happy Mothers day Mum!
Loved creating this layout of Nanna Borchers and Nanna Wruck taken in December last year at Caitlin’s ballet concert.  She was so so proud to have both her Nanna’s there to see her dance.  I was pretty proud too!
A stack of Craft Queen ribbon teamed with Kaiser paper and Manor House flowers.
and of course, for Mothers day, I wanted to make them each a card… and to stop any disappointment (not that there would have been any), I ‘ve made 2 the same and just mixed and matched up the pattern papers 🙂  Close up first…
Love, love this Tulle… and the Rosebud ribbon.

Card Two:
To all the Mum’s out there, Happy Mothers day, I hope you have 2 minutes peace and are able to go to the bathroom uninterrupted!! 🙂

Purple Pumpkin Wall Canvas and more…

A quick blog today to show you my recent Purple Pumpkin creations 🙂 now up on the Purple Pumpkin blog. First up is my very first go at a wall canvas – I made it for a friend who recently had a beautiful baby girl… I’m really happy with the result, especially love the background and how I could make it all really dimensional.  Going to give another one a go for my scrap room now.
Close ups of the Purple Pumpkin goodies…yum!
and I also made these 2 little bird cards – they have journalling blocks on them so I can use them for anything as the need arises.  Purple pumpkin buttons and twine and the mesh ribbon is craft queen.
Thanks for popping by.
