Happy Friday everyone! Ohh sooo glad to be up and in my scrap room again!! I have officially got the all clear to drive and things are returning to normal 🙂 It’s a new month and I was lucky enough to be asked to design the August Ribbon Club at Craft Queen; a classic combo of bright blue, green and orange – bring on Summer!!!

I also took a shot of my Purple Pumpkin goodies I won over at the birthday sale, you’ll all be pleased to know it wasn’t hard to spend my $50 gift voucher and then some!! You’ll be seeing more of this on my layouts for sure 🙂

and last but not least, a couple more shots of my craft room. These are just a couple of draws, there is one more but it’s a bit “junky” so I didn’t take a shot of that. It has tape and Kindy glitz and some glitters and that’s it.

First up is a heap of lil jars I got from IKEA which house all sorts of little embellies and things, all marked of course 🙂 and matching…

2nd shot is just my punches, one draw for Martha and the other draw for all others… I’ve been teaching Caitlin which are which. You are never too young to learn to appreciate the wonder of Martha Stewart!! 🙂

Now off to have a play with the new Authentique range paper pads amongst other things…

Well I really didn’t think I’d make this one but I did! I had 3/4’s of this done and on my desk before my surgery adventure and now that that is over, bit by bit I managed to finish it off 🙂

Hi Everyone,

Well, what a week I have had. As you know last week in my post I mentioned that I had been unwell, I had caught Caitlin’s flu. I was on the mend from that but just didn’t feel quite right. Then on Monday night I started suffering from serious stomach pain, just out of the blue. Well, turns out my appendix was gangrenous and so I needed emergency surgery to take it out which happened on Tuesday afternoon. I spent Tuesday night in hospital and came home on Wednesday afternoon. Lots of bed rest and I’m now feeling much much better! It has been quite dramatic let me tell you!

Chris has been amazing doing all my jobs as well as his and Caitlin too has been the perfect little miss helping her daddy however she can. More bed rest for me and no driving until at least Friday next week!!! But, I think I’ll go crazy before then! I’m hoping I can get back to work really soon but will just have to wait and see how I go.

Well what a weekend I’ve had!! I’ve been house bound for 4 days straight. Caitlin was sick on Thursday and Friday. Friday night was FANTASTIC with me winning the Purple Pumpkin give away $50 voucher – sooo excited!! Then on Saturday morning, I came down with what Caitlin had and boy has it knocked me for a six!! I slept 13 hours straight Saturday night, had the shivers and all, it wasn’t pretty!! Feeling better today but still not myself. Don’t you just love kids and their germs 😉

Anyways, lucky for me I did this before I came down ill… my take on BITW’s “Today” challenge.

Hopefully I’ll be feeling even better tomorrow – just in time to get back to work!
