September sketch for Purple Pumpkin…

Happy Saturday everyone!!

I’m here today to share the new Purple Pumpkin sketch…. loved this one!

Love the vintage feel to these girl buttons…

and the pink heart ones are a fav!!  Also, see the new gold washi – this is so nice in real life!

I’ve combined a felt lace flower with Manor House and some Prima flowers for my cluster.

A few of my favourite things….

Well hello there to you all – and a special hello to my new followers, lovely to have you pop by!

Quite a few of my favourite things have come together for this one.. Purple Pumpkin, Craft Queen and the Orange Paperie August challenge – I just loved this inspirational pic!!!!

Close ups first – My feature paper is a little blue-er (is that a word??) than the pic but it was as close as I had and I’m on Scrappy diet at the moment, so no more shopping – until I use up some of this stash!!  I’ve saving up for the October craft show which I will go to with Mum 🙂

Lots of layers as normal… a real mix of flowers too.

One purple pumpkin button – I’ve used 4 on this layout… 2 calico and 2 pattern.

How pretty is that blue lace ribbon from Craft Queen!!

The background is scraps of white card stock that I have run through my Sizzix using different embossing folders… I then just patch-worked them together and then covered with impasto and Gesso to stick them down….  I love how this worked out and it’s a FAB way to use up my off cuts.  I will definitely be doing this again!

Wonderful, Light Hearted, Beyond Measure Love

Well hello there,

Today I have a layout to share that I created for Craft Queen, and this is one of my new favourites.   My love for this one begins with the photo – I’ve been itching to get one like this since FOREVER – armed with examples I hit Chris up and he so so delivered, love it!  The rest just came together so well, like it was meant to be.  I so love it when a layout comes together in a magical way!!!

I also created this card using yummy Crepe ribbon and the new pearl centres and some delicious Collections paper.

Saving this one for someone special 🙂

Home Sweet Home

Hi Everyone,

Another Purple Pumpkin share for you today.  I have been working on a heap of new projects of late that have more of a documenting feel to them – for example, my work, our house, and everyday things rather than my usual portrait shots.  I do love love love my portraits but it is also so good to record the whole of our lives. All of which I hope will make up a real picture of what life was like for us documented.

A big announcement..

Hi Everyone, 
Well what exciting news I have to share today…

It all started in July when I took some time out to do some scrapping for a certain DT call out.  I wasn’t 100% about even submitting as I just didn’t think I would get it… BUT Mum always said to my sister and I that you never know unless you try and well, I am sitting here right now pinching myself… I still cannot believe I made the team!!!   Especially now I see the super talented line up Oh My Golly Gosh!!!

Yes, that’s right, the Manor House DT!!!

I have my first shipment of DT goodies and they are all so so beautiful, you are all going to love them!!!  I can’t wait to share and feel so very privileged to be chosen to showcase their gorgeous flowers for an entire year  🙂

I will have to wait though, just for a little longer.  What I do have to share today are the layouts I created especially for my DT application:

Sooo get ready for an amazing ride – I know I am!  Lots to share using these stunning flowers 🙂 Oh, and the other huge plus is that you can get your hands on the Manor House flowers through Craft Queen so while you are there grabbing your buttons, charms and ribbons, you can also pick yourself up some stunning flowers too – how good is that!!
